<p>I&#8217;ve been waiting for someone to make the case for faceted browse and search for what seems like forever. I&#8217;m thrilled to find this article (via <a href="http://stephenfrancoeur.com/" target="_blank">Stephen Francoeur</a>) <a href="http://www.boxesandarrows.com/view/faceted-finding-with" target="_blank">explaining the concept</a> for super-charging breadcrumbs using facets.</p>
